The High School Concert Band is the main band in the department. Students in this band are involved in many activites throughout the school and community. The band performs three concerts a year as well as performing at OMEA large group District contest. Students in the high school band also participate in Solo and Ensemble, Show Choir/Band, Musicals, Honor Bands and a few also perform with the local community band known as the Portsmouth Wind Symphony. The band meets everyday during the last period of the school day.

The band will be hosting our 2014 Spring Festival on May 16 at 7:00pm in the PHS Auditeria. We will be hosting all grades 5-12 that night. The high school selections for that night are:
