The Junior High Band consists of the 7th and 8th grade band students in the district. They meet everyday for an hour. The junior high band performs with the high school band for three of their concerts, and will occassionally perform a joint piece with them as well. In addition to being in the junior high band, the 8th grade band students also participate in The Portsmouth Sound as active members. A select group of 7th grade students also get to participate as "Band-Aides" and perform with the band in the stands and in parades.

The band will be joining our 2014 Spring Festival on May 16 at 7:00pm in the PHS Auditeria. We will be joining with all grades 5-12 that night. The junior high selections for that night are:
